分階段提高學生的寫作能力全面滲透新課標教育理念
摘要:本文針對造成書面表達得分率偏低的原因和《新課標》更加注重英語思維和表達能力的培養(yǎng)這一教學目標,提出分階段訓練學生的寫作,才能更有效的提高學生的書面表達能力。從高一上學期抓“句子”訓練;高一下學期仿寫、縮寫、改寫課文;高二上學期進行組句成段、組段成篇訓練;高二下學期訓練學生各種文體的短文;高三階段重在修改和潤色文章等,分階段扎扎實實地進行訓練,使學生具有并達到較高的寫作水平。關鍵詞:新課標提高寫作能力分階段訓練英語教學
我校是一所綜合高中,有5000多名學生,學生的總成績比普高的差,比其他職業(yè)高中的要好,大多數學生其他科都好,就是英語基礎知識相對薄弱。特別是提起寫英語作文他們就頭痛。
一.學生英語寫作中存在的主要問題:1.語法錯誤,主要是初中的八個主要時態(tài)、語態(tài)和名詞單復數的錯誤,以及主謂不一致、指代不一致、句子混亂、成分不全等。
2.漢語影響了英語表達,有些學生習慣把漢語生搬硬套地翻譯成英語,找不到能充分表達準確意思的、地道的詞語或表達方式;如翻譯這樣一個句子:浙江將要建一個飛機場,85%以上的學生都錯誤地翻譯成:Zhejiangwillbuildanewairport.
3.句子趨于單調重復,缺乏變化,不能根據需要靈活選擇不同的單詞、短語和不同的句式結構
4.篇章主題不夠明確,時間、地點、人物、事件、具體事例不能清楚表達出來。5.語篇結構松散、布局凌亂,缺乏合適的銜接和過渡。
國家新一輪基礎教育課程改革之風吹遍了全國中小學校。怎樣才能緊跟新形勢,把《英語課程標準》的理念滲透到英語課堂教學中,進一步提高教學質量呢?以往的高考英語題中書面表達題只有一道,占25分。今年廣東題增加了書面表達題型的題量和分數,英語書面表達為兩題,占40分,第一題為基礎寫作,第二題為任務型寫作。這一變化趨勢也體現了《新課標》注重英語思維和表達能力的培養(yǎng)這一教學目標。這也促使我下定決心在寫作教學和研究方面下更深的功夫。英語作文教學向來是英語教學中的難點,學生寫作的確也存在著各種各樣的問題。
二.怎樣才能提高學生的寫作能力呢?
首先需要我們廣大外語教師能端正思想,認真對待,決不可以掉以輕心。
平時注意用恰當的方法,不斷地鉆研、積累更多的切實可行的英語作文寫作模式教給學生,全面了解和貫徹新課標理念。這也不失為快速有效全面地解決問題,提高學生英語寫作水平的好方法。
其次,我們的老師需要對學生能進行有計劃、有步驟地系統(tǒng)訓練。
因為英語是一門語言,他同漢語一樣,句子的表達多種多樣,詞匯的運用千變萬化,熟練的運用人稱、時態(tài)、搭配以及組句成段、連段成篇、謀篇布局、承轉潤色等能力并非一日功夫可達,要靠長期苦練才能獲得。經多年教學實踐證明,通過分階段對學生進行有系統(tǒng)的訓練,效果非常顯著。就像我們背誦英語課文,如果每次都把全文讀一遍,讀了幾十遍也不一定能背誦出來,而且效率很低。但是如果把課文分成一段一段一句一句的背誦,那么效果就很好,花很短的時間就能背誦出來,而且感覺輕松愉快。下面本人就201*年到201*年一個周期多分階段逐步提高學生的寫作能力的實踐總結如下,與大家共勉。高一:重點抓“遣詞造句”和組句成段,組段成篇的訓練1.打好詞匯量基礎
詞匯是英語寫作必不可少的基本要求,要寫好一篇作文來充分表達自己的思想,必須以足夠的詞匯量為基礎,但實際上大多數學生掌握的詞匯量都達不到規(guī)定的要求,因而在寫作時也就不能隨心所欲地表達自己的思想。往往在寫作中出現下列問題:拼寫錯誤,影響理解;詞語誤用,表達不準確;某一詞語反復使用,語言表達缺乏變式,文章顯得單調乏味;文章中出現大量“造詞”,讓人看了啼笑皆非等。顯然詞匯量不足已成為制約學生寫作的瓶頸。因此,在平時的教學中,重點培養(yǎng)學生拼讀記憶單詞的能力,掌握音標這個記憶單詞的工具,通過音標去記單詞;通過經常聽寫單詞、常用詞匯、固定搭配或專項聽寫訓練,不斷積累大量詞匯,為寫作打下扎實的基礎。2.理順句型結構
而英文句子主要成分是否殘缺、是否地道,很大程度上取決于英語習慣用語和句型的掌握程度。因此,可要求學生對所學的常見句型和習慣用語口頭反復操練,以達到爛熟于心、脫口而出的程度。
首先訓練學生的八個時態(tài)和被動語態(tài),舉一些例子,讓學生反復操練。如:他唱歌。讓學生用八個時態(tài)很熟練的說出來:Hesingsthesongeveryday;Hesangthesongyesterday;Hewillsingthesongtomorrow;Hewouldsingthesongthenextday;Heissingingthesongnow.Hewassingingthesongatthattime.Hehasalreadysungthesong;Hehadalreadysungthesongbythetimeofteno`clock.如果學生不熟悉,又用其他動詞繼續(xù)練習,直到掌握為止。然后讓學生把這些句子改為被動語態(tài)。熟練掌握英語各種句子的時態(tài)和語態(tài)的表達法是寫好英語作文的重中之重,我們高一教師一定要在這方面花大力氣。其次訓練學生五個基本句型。通過五個基本句型的訓練,使學生清楚的明白英語句子的主謂賓表定狀補的位置,同時準確無誤的靈活的運用英語寫出五個簡單句。
然后讓學生掌握一些固定的句式,如It`sadj.that/to和makeiteasierforSb.todosth.就是比較典型的句型,上課時通過造多個句子或翻譯多個句子來記住這類句型,考試時,就可套用這種句型造出正確優(yōu)美的句子。同時有意識的給學生提供一些原汁原味的英語句子,讓他們背誦,培養(yǎng)學生語感和用英語思維的習慣。通過背誦向學生輸入大量有效信息并積累素材,這樣學生在表達自己的思想時,才能呼之欲出,信手拈來。俗話說,“萬丈高樓從地起”,因此這個階段是最重要的,也是最艱苦最漫長的的階段,通過培養(yǎng)學生記憶單詞的能力和反復練習句子時態(tài)和各種句型,學生不僅熟練地掌握了所學的新單詞和短語,而且更清晰的領悟了“英語句子”的來龍去脈,為以后的作文打下堅實的基礎。3、進行組句成段,組段成篇的訓練
1、根據所給的關鍵詞和中文的提示來寫作文,這樣組詞成句、組句成段使作文快速提高的效果很明顯。
如學完新課標必修2Unit4WildlifeProtection后,給學生布置了一篇作文。

這種說明性質的文章,同學們無需考慮時態(tài)變化,只需運用keywords和正確的關聯詞,組詞成句翻譯好后就是一篇好文章了。2、通過回答問題的形式來寫文章,學生感覺比較輕松,如上完必修1Unit5NelsonMandelaamodernhero后,讓學生課后讀一篇名人傳記,通過回答下列問題后組合成一篇文章.Whoishe/she?Whatdosehe/shedo?What`shis/hernationality?When/Wherewashe/sheborn?Wherewashe/sheeducated?

3.訓練時遵循人的認識規(guī)律,由簡到繁、由淺入深。先從句子入手,再過度到寫短文。如以寫一篇題為Ourschool的短文為例,最初只給四五個句子的提示,學生寫出幾個簡單句即成,以后把提示內容逐步增加,把難度逐步提高。這種緩坡式的訓練,使學生寫做水平逐步提高,而不覺得苦和累。
高二:重點進行“模仿創(chuàng)造”仿寫、縮寫、改寫文章和修改潤色文章一、仿寫、縮寫、改寫文章
結合新課標課文進行仿寫、縮寫、改寫訓練,有利于鞏固所學的詞匯、短語、句型及背誦課文。那種撇開課文,另找材料進行寫作的訓練方法是不可取的。新課標課文體裁多樣,語言規(guī)范。結合課文進行練習,能使學生運用課文中的詞語、句型及規(guī)范搭配,寫出地道的英語句子。對課文結構進行分析,找出一些關聯詞,學生領悟之后,就能寫出結構比較嚴謹、層次比較清楚的短文。例如,讓學生在學了必修4Unit4Bodylanguage后寫一篇題為Myteacher的短文,要求學生寫出老師的外貌、性格、教學態(tài)度、上課的教姿教態(tài)、課堂常用語以及和學生的關系等,學生仿寫起來就比較得心應手。
如學了必修4Unit2Workingtheland后,讓學生自己用中文口頭概括一下本文的主題大意,再用英語Retellthestoryin6080words。特別要學會袁隆平先生一心為公為民,無私奉獻的精神。學生們寫出來的文章思路都非常清楚,從他們的縮寫作文可以看出,他們的身心都得到很大的震撼和進步。
通過高一扎扎實實的訓練,學生大多能正確運用所學詞語并做到行文通暢。到了高二,重點進行全面的系統(tǒng)的訓練,熟悉各種文體以及各種文體的格式和不同文體常用的人稱和時態(tài)。如記敘文(Narration)要明確四要素:時間、地點、人物、事件,特別注意時態(tài);說明文和描寫文(ExpositionandDescription)
要求把事物解說和描述清楚就行;書信格式由信頭(Heading)、稱呼(Salutation)、正文(Body)、結束語(Ending)和簽名(Signature)幾個部分構成。通知和便條(Noticeandnote)必須說清楚時間、地點和活動內容;日記(Diary)
開始寫好日期、周日、天氣情況,正文寫下當天所見、所聞、所感和所經歷的事情;其他還有電話留言,尋物啟事和個人簡歷等。不僅讓學生清楚的記住上述各種文體,而且重點掌握這些文體的格式,筆者認為要熟練掌握他們的固定格式,最好的方法是同一類型的作文反復練習寫兩次或多次。二、重在修改和潤色文章
寫作文就象學騎車和開車一樣,重在修改。寫好一篇英語作文,掌握一定的寫作技巧,應把握以下幾個步驟:
首先要認真審題立意,明確主題。定文章之靈魂對命題作文必須認真審題,對自由作文必須立好意。文章要有明確的主題,必須具備4個條件:準確、鮮明、深刻、集中。要圍繞題目這個關鍵的題眼進行作文。
其次要注意結構合理,層次清楚。草擬提綱,打造文章之骨架審好題和立好意。文章布局要做好3件事:安排好層次段落,鋪設好過渡,處理好開頭和結尾。如命題作文中有提示句,還要從提示句的關鍵詞出發(fā),圍繞關鍵詞開拓思路,發(fā)揮聯想,記錄下聯想到的東西,可以是句子或單詞詞組,可以是英語或漢語。
其三要寫出段落主題句。每段的主題句非常重要,是作者思維的起點,切題的準繩,闡述的對象。看到段落主題句,讀者大致了解段落要闡述的內容。段落主題句通常是一個語法結構完整、內容概括、用詞簡潔明了的單句。通常將段落主題句置于段落的開頭,可使文章結構更清晰,有說服力。
其四是注意句子通順流暢。
1、檢驗的標準主要是句子是否通暢,句子銜接是否自然流暢,該用連詞的地方用了沒有,所用的連詞是否合適。平時讓學生學會使用過渡詞。如:1)遞進:furthermore,moreover,besides,inaddition,thenetc.2)轉折:however,but,nevertheless,afteralletc.3)總結:finally,atlast,inbrief,toconclude。4)強調:really,indeed,certainly,surely,abovealletc.5)對比:inthesameway,justas,ontheotherhand,etc.
2、避免寫錯單詞或重復使用同一單詞或詞組。做書面表達時,我們常常會碰到這種情況:一個意思往往因一個單詞不會而表達不清;一個好的句子因一個單詞想不起來而不能完成。面對這種情況,該如何應對呢?下面介紹三種簡便易行的應急措施,希望能對同學們有所幫助。1)、換用籠統(tǒng)詞2)、換用同義詞、反義詞3)、換用迂回表達。3.避免句子冗長。盡量使用清楚、簡潔、明了的簡單句等等。
老師在批改他們的作文時,除了把錯的糾正過來,最好加一些評語“Good”、“Excellent、welldone”等,讓學生有成就感,學生們覺得寫作文也不是一件很困難的事。在訓練過程中要和課文相結合,以課文為本,再配上我們教師精心準備的內容一步一個腳印的來訓練。根據新課程理念和我自己多年積累的經驗。輔導學生作文,05級4班李甜同學在“全國中小學生《學英語》杯英語征文大賽”中榮獲全國三等獎。本人也獲得三等輔導獎。高三階段,大多學生已經在工作崗位實習。在職位上歷練自己的英語寫作水平,并使之趨向于成熟,成為這一階段學習的重點。對英語專業(yè)在職人員來說,熟練掌握英語寫作技能是其立身之本。
“不積跬步,無以致千里,不積小流,無以成江!。實踐證明:有計劃、有目的的訓練要比雜亂無章的訓練效果要好得多。持之以恒、分階段實施比高一、高二不訓練,留待最后突擊訓練效果要好得多。

長期以來,在英語教學中,關于如何對待高一年級學生寫作中的錯誤,一直是許多青年教師和學生們感到困惑的問題。在教師一方,每當看見學生交來的作業(yè)中,錯誤又多,并反復重犯,批改起來,既費時,又無新意,就感到心煩頭痛。我也有過同感。反觀學生一方,他們一般寫作認真,總擔心出錯,可偏又總是錯誤不斷。
其實,在外語教學過程中,學生出錯誤是種非常自然的現象。就象Krashen指出的:“人們不犯錯誤,就學不會語言!比欢,學生學習的進步與提高,固然要靠獲得新知;但是,能使他們努力改正自己認知上的和使用上的錯誤,對其知識和能力的進步與提高來說,其意義和價值尤為不可低估。通過長期教學實踐和探討,我逐漸認識到,學生在寫作時,能否避免出錯或少出錯,關鍵還是在教師。在于教師能否耐心地、認真細致地去研究學生的每個錯誤;在于教師能否掌握學生為什么常出這樣或那樣錯誤;在于教師能否對癥下病,找出相應的有效改正方法。此外,我還領悟到這樣一個微妙道理,即學生在寫作中流露出來的錯誤,往往對教師的教學很重要,有時還很有價值。于是,我得出個結論,即采取正確對待學生英語寫作中錯誤的態(tài)度,運用“把壞事變好事”的轉變式主導教學藝術,而這其中也體現著教師的教學素質。下邊就我教高一時,針對解決這一長期存在問題的探討、分析,以及采取的一些有成效轉變手段,作一簡明論證。
首先,我對學生寫作中所犯的形形色色錯誤,粗略歸納為兩大類。第一類:概念型的錯誤一、語序錯誤例:1.Weareatherehavelunch.

先看第一類錯誤。這些錯誤很明顯是受“母語”干擾的緣故,整個句子反映的是本族語的結構。例如學生經常犯的時態(tài)錯誤,總是忘記改寫動詞的形式,因為漢語就沒有動詞時態(tài)變化,有的只是時間狀語的變化。再如,InourschoolhasabigPlayground.學生往往按照漢語的順序,一個字換一個字的去澤,忽視了中英文的語序并非完全一樣的概念。犯此類錯誤的另種原因,就是練得不夠,不能做到將正確形式脫口而出,信手拈來。甚至一般現在時第三人稱單數動詞加s這種語法現象,學生對此概念本已非常清楚,但仍屢屢一做題就錯,說明學生從明白到學會,到熟練掌握英語的特性,必須要經過一段訓練過程,也即要有足夠的操練。熟練掌握是練出來的,不是背會的,那種盲目地讓學生反反復復地背時態(tài)結構,是不明智的。再看第二類錯誤。這類錯誤一如孩提學說話時出現的“錯誤”現象,意思能使你琢磨出來,只是用詞不當或不會章法。語言學習也是一種創(chuàng)作和發(fā)揮,當我們的學生要表達自己的意思,但又由于詞語不豐,一時確定不了如何表達時,他們就傾向創(chuàng)作了。所以在學生的作文里,我們常會看到一些創(chuàng)作。例如,Itisrainingstrongly.學生造句的用意,我們可以理解到,可在句子中究竟應該用什么詞來修飾雨呢?是big?是great?是heavy?是strong?是hard?等等,正是由于他們拿不準,所以便自己創(chuàng)造了。
基于上述這樣認真分析并查明原因后,我曾設想過多種改進措施,并學習他人的先進經驗,經過反復實踐和操練,終于使學生寫作中的錯誤現象大有改觀。多數學生從屢出錯轉變?yōu)榕汲鲥e,F將我感到作用較大、收效突出的幾項措施,歸納如下:
一、高一年級學生剛剛開始練習寫作,我認為教師先不要急于讓學生成篇寫作,應在教師的控制下,采取循序漸進的步驟,即讓學生先練句,再練段,最后練文。
二、結合學生實際,在練習寫作前,可先介紹一些短篇名作,讓學生去背。通過背誦,讓學生慢慢領會英語語言特性,名作的字句結構特點,以及文章中的妙筆等。如此耳濡目染,時間一久,自己的思維、表達也會漸漸成習,這極有助于學生借鏡、模仿、脫口而出、信手拈來。在此基礎上,再自己造句、練段、成文,其效果會更佳。
三、學生交作業(yè)前,教師要先讓他們自查錯誤,或兩人一組交互檢查。我認為這既是一種指導法,也是一種督促力度。作用力強,印象深刻,效果也比教師包攬起來強的多。
四、教師在評閱學生作文時,不要急于替學生改錯,最好把錯處用線條劃出來,并提出鼓勵性意見或評語,讓學生自己去修改,去積極思維,去分辨。最后收上來,教師再批改。五、對于學生寫作中出現的創(chuàng)作性或發(fā)揮性錯誤,教師千萬不要批評,相反,要鼓勵和保護他們這種學習熱情。因為這種熱情很珍貴,它的良性發(fā)展,會成為學生提高學習能力和獲得優(yōu)異成績一種最為積極的因素。只是對學生在寫作中拿不準的詞,或表達不清的句子,教師需及時給予具體幫助。
