八年級上學期英語教學總結

時間如白駒過隙,眨眼間兩個月就過去了。在這個學期,我擔任了八年級的英語教學工作。根據本學期教學工作計劃安排,目前教學工作一將要結束。為了在以后的教學工作中能更好地發(fā)揮自己的能力,現(xiàn)將本學期英語教學工作總結如下,以方便找出一些經驗教訓及改進辦法。
一、學生的基本情況
由于這個班級的學生來源不同,有些學生在小學就已經接觸過英語,有些初一才開始,所以對于英語教學的接受程度很不一致。但有一個共同點:除了兩個曾在珠三角讀過小學的學生外,其他在當?shù)鼗蚋浇r村小學升上初一的學生英語基礎都極為薄弱。這就要求教師在進行英語教學時要一邊抓基礎一邊按教學進度進行教學。英語基礎包括重新學習音標、復數(shù)、人稱、介詞等。例如音標的學習,本學期我就學生單詞難以記住這一問題,重新教學生讀、記及運用英語音標。由于音標的教學是在第二周才開始,學生在第一周的英語學習,包括單詞記憶中體會到沒有掌握單詞拼讀能力帶來的困難,于是就會比較積極主動地學習音標。部分成績較好、對英語學習非常積極的女生甚至主動提供意見如何學習才能更有效果。所以,要想教學順利進行,了解學生學習情況是非常有必要的。
二、采取的教學措施
1、認真?zhèn)湔n。教學中,備課是一個必不可少的環(huán)節(jié),既要備學生,又要備教法。備課不充分或者備得不好,會嚴重影響課堂氣氛和積極性,我明白到備課的重要性,因此,每天我都花費大量的時間在備課之上,認認真真鉆研教材和教法,不滿意就不收工。雖然辛苦,但事實證明是值得的。
2、教學過程中,注意抓常規(guī)教學,以學生為主體,面向全體學生組織教學,注意培養(yǎng)學生的聽說讀寫的能力,充分利用早讀時間,要求學生大聲朗讀課文。
3、抓基礎,如上所提到。
4、結合實物、圖片等用英語進行簡單的描述,培養(yǎng)學生的語言表達能力。5、抓課堂作業(yè)、單元測試過關,并注重復習。
三、建立融洽的師生關系由于剛畢業(yè)不久,剛開始時我多少有點把學生當做什么都不懂的小孩子來看待,學生做錯事我就以長輩那種權威的語氣教訓學生,導致個別男生對我的教育有抵觸情緒。幸好我很快就意識到,初一學生的獨立性開始已經逐漸增強,自尊心也在漸增,他們渴望得到尊重。于是我就立即改變策略,以平等、友好的姿態(tài)和學生交流,師生矛盾才沒有激發(fā),反而和學生關系日漸親密,成為無話不談的朋友,學生在課堂上違反紀律的現(xiàn)象也得到改善。
由此我認識到,師生之間只有互相尊重,互相信任,才能建立起友好關系,從而促進學生學習的興趣。所以必須樹立正確的學生觀,正確認識學生的主體地位。所以,上課時我是學生的老師,循循善誘和激發(fā)學生學習的積極性,大膽求異創(chuàng)新;課后我卻成為他們的好朋友,無話不談,亮起心靈之光;生活上,給予他們最及時的幫助,關懷備至。
